Cherryland Electric Cooperative customers are the first in the state to take advantage of a new program to increase energy efficiency by making it easier for homeowners to get loans for energy efficiency improvements. The Michigan Saves Cherryland pilot program offers homeowners a pain-free way to get affordable, energy-saving home improvements such as furnaces, appliances, and insulation—with no upfront costs and payments conveniently added to their monthly Cherryland utility bill.

Michigan Saves allows customers to take advantage of long-term financing for loans over $1,000 and convenient monthly billing to help lower utility bills and make homes more energy efficient.
